In 1886, Giovanni (John) Paterno formed a partnership under the name McIntosh & Paterno with a friend, Mr. McIntosh, to construct an apartment building at 505 West 112th Street. (Kelley Paterno 283)

Address at NYC DOB for Home for Old Men & Aged Couples is 501-507 West 112th Street and 1060 Amsterdam (main address); Demolition permit (DP 128-35) was filed in 1935 (perhaps this is when 505 and 507 were demolished to expand the Home)
